The Last Stop Before Kirkgate

A teddy with some dolls house furniture dimly lit by a single light bulb

Experience the sights, smells and sounds of Victorian York like never before in this brand-new immersive installation, open everyday until Sunday 22 February. This experience has been created in collaboration with Novo Theatre and introduces you to York’s past in that promises to excite and entertain.

As you arrive at the coaching inn, The Last Stop, you’ll hear from some lively characters also on their way to visit our famous street, Kirkgate.  This new experience will guide you to travel back in time to the 1870s allowing you to delve deeper into the real stories behind the collection. Linger, listen and travel with us!
